Sally Officinalis Berggarten
Sage was originally cultivated in Southern Europe. You can immediately recognise sage by its felty and 'pettable' leaves. You don't know what you can use this herb for? Sage gives meat dishes in particular (veal, chicken, etc.) a new dimension. It also creates a unique flavour in gravy. Try it!
This Mediterranean herb can grow up to 80 cm if planted in good conditions. In short: a place in the sun and not too much water.
Grow your plant in full soil or in a pot.
Place this herb in a light and sunny spot.
Do not overdo it when watering, sage likes a slightly drier soil.
You may want to look into buying a sandy potting soil mixture; your plant will thank you! Additional nutrition is not necessary.
Trim the leaves after flowering.
